What are your favorite books about 'health' ?

There are probably many interesting books about human health.

My suggestion would be to focus on 3 aspects which are necessary to change our behavior and enable long-term health:

  • Nutrition
  • Lifestyle
  • Psychology

The body is made of food, so understanding nutrition is pretty much essential to build a strong body and maintain it in good health.

Lifestyle is also important since we can't have the best food, and then spend our days in front of the Playstation or watching Netflix 24/7. Like a car , the body needs to move in order to function properly.

Psychology is needed to drive a cultural change in the individual. Without proper understanding and motivation, the change won't happen. No matter how convincing are the arguments. For example you can't quit smoking or drinking without a solid motivation, though you know how harmful it is.

So books like The China Study [1] , and NLP [2] are probably what you're looking for.
